Three Weeks in Canton: Paintings by Deborah Uman-Sures

April 26 – May 18, 2014
Thursday to Sunday, 10am – 5pm

Opening reception: Sunday, April 27, 1 – 4pm with artist talk at 2pm

Deborah has worked professionally as an art director, designer and children’s book illustrator. She has taught painting, drawing and design history in the Canadian prairies as well as at OCAD. Her diverse interests have led her to study Japanese brush work in Kyoto, Japan and French language and culture at The Sorbonne in Paris.

Deborah’s paintings are found in private collections across North America as well as in France, a broad range of her work can also be found in books, film, advertising and galleries.
